MS and PhD Programs in the Graduate Institute of Mineral Resources Engineering

The Graduate Institute of Mineral Resources Engineering offers Master and PhD programs in the following research areas,

(1) Resources Exploitation and Geological Engineering [Exploitation] ,

(2) Resources and Materials Processing [Processing] and

(3) Resources Applications and Materials Synthesis [Application].

Course Description and Outline (Present & Non-present)

 

Academic Year 2023, Master Program, Graduate Institute of Mineral Resources Engineering

1.Minimum Credits for Graduation: 32 credits.
2.Mandatory Required Credits: 9 credits (include Research 6 credits and Engineering Seminar 3 credits); Major Elective Credits : 23 credits; Maximum Credits for Inter-Dept. Elective Credits :9 credits (need to be approved by Adviser)
3.Each graduate student shall pass the minimum English proficiency requirement(s) for graduation.
4.Course requirements, graduation requirements, and thesis defense are to be conducted according to Policy and Requirements for Master of Mineral Resources Engineering Program in College of Engineering, National Taipei University of Technology.。
5.List of Credits for Graduation is suitable for new students in 2023.

Academic Year 2023, Ph.D. Program, Graduate Institute of Mineral Resources Engineering

1.Minimum Credit for Graduation: 39 credits.
2.Mandatory Required Credits: 18 credits. Include‘English Technical Writing’(2 credits),‘Doctoral Dissertation’(12 credits), and‘Engineering Seminar’(4 credits).
3.Elective Credits: 21 credits. (Selective courses should be totaled no less than 21 credits with minimum of 9 credits from the Program. Courses under other institutes of NTUT (or other University) can be taken with the agreement of the advisors).
4.Each graduate student shall pass the minimum English proficiency requirement(s) for graduation, and shall all meet the criteria of the English proficiency tests set by the department (if any). Students may refer to the department websites for their English proficiency criteria set by each department.
5.List of Credits for Graduation is suitable for new students in 2023.
